While everyone is disheartened with the demise of the great singer Bill Withers, Adam Levine writes a long post to bid a final goodbye to the singer. March 30 was a tough day for the pop-music industry as one of its gems, Bill Withers, left the world at the age of 81.
One of his celebrity fans, Adam Levine, took Instagram to express his grief on the unfortunate demise of Levine. Sharing a smiling picture of Bill, Adam wrote how Bill has always been a true inspiration for him.
Remembering the quality time spent with the Ain’t No Sunshine singer, Adam wrote, “I had the honor of spending a few days in the studio with Mr. Bill Withers. We had some brief but quality time together.”
Writing further, the Girls Like You singer mentioned Bill has been a true inspiration and nobody else can ever be as great as him.

“I fangirled about what an inspiration he was to me as a singer and artist. There are many greats out there. But nobody did it like Bill. Never flashy. Always direct and hit you right smack in the middle of your gut,” he wrote.
While bidding a heartiest goodbye to the great singer, Adam also remembered a few of Withers’ greatest songs including Lean on Me, Lovely Day, Grandma’s hands, When I’m kissin my love, Ain’t no sunshine, etc.
“These songs shaped me,” added Adam. Further, Adam assured Bill’s soul that as long as he’s fortunate to be alive, he’ll keep playing his songs at home. Concluding his words, he prayed for Bill’s soul to rest in peace. “Rest In Peace, my friend. We love you,” reads his words.
Reportedly, Bill Withers died at the age of 81 due to some heart complications. While the singer died on March 30, his family shared this unfortunate news with his fans on April 3. Born on July 4, 1938, Bill was a great American singer-songwriter and musician.
